Knitter's Review

Rhinebeck leaves

The leaves were at their peak, the temps wool-wearingly chilly, and we had a dusting of snow on Sunday.

Won't you join me for a walk through the New York Sheep and Wool Festival at Rhinebeck?

Meet you in Saint Andrews?
My laundry has barely dried, but it's time to hit the road again, this time to journey north toward the town of Saint Andrews-by-the-Sea in New Brunswick, Canada. I'm headed to KnitEast, where I'll be joining some of the knitting world's finest to teach workshops on yarn and swatching. The event takes place at the historic Algonquin Resort, and there's still a few class spots open. See you there?

In the Forums: The Right Rib?
Jen is finishing the cuffs on a sweater with 1x1 ribbing and needs help deciding which stretchy bind-off to use, Elizabeth Zimmermann's sewn bind-off or Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off. Which would you use?

Need help logging into the Forums?

As always, I thank you for letting me be a part of your knitting life.

We'll talk again in two weeks!
