Knitter's Review
October 8, 2015
the Knit City tote bag

I'm just back from Vancouver, where the fourth-annual Knit City took place.

Although the event saw nearly 3,000 knitters pass through its doors, you might not have been one of them—so I've collected pictures, stories, yarns, and patterns for you.

Next Weekend in New York
The New York State Sheep and Wool Festival is October 17 and 18 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, New York. This year has a special twist: On Saturday at 10am, I'll be giving away a limited number of advance reading copies of my brand new, yet-to-be-released book, Knitlandia. (Surprise! It comes out in February 2016, and I'm really quite proud of it.) Please come by the author area and say hello!

In the Forums: Keep or Frog?
Cindy has ripped and restarted her current project at least five times, only to discover yet another mistake, this time in the lace. She's not sure she has the skills to unravel and reknit, or should she just live with the mistake and move on? What's your attitude about mistakes?

As always, I thank you for letting me be a part of your knitting life.

We'll talk again in two weeks!
