Knitter's Review

the Sweater Care Kit

As popular as the smaller one-skein projects remain, I'm seeing more sweater knitters than ever before.

Bigger garments have bigger requirements, especially when it comes to blocking and washing. Designer and sweater-knitter extraordinnaire Julie Weisenberger of Cocoknits understands these requirements first-hand. She has created a Sweater Care Kit that is as charming as it is helpful. I'll show you what's inside.

This Weekend
Head to Reed Point, Montana, on Sunday, September 6, for the 27th annual Great Montana Sheep Drive. Festivities begin at 9am with floats, antique cars, sheep shearing demonstrations, and a petting zoo. At 4pm sharp, join the crowds along either side of the town's main street as the running of the sheep begins. Meanwhile, just a stone's throw from my very own backyard, the Fiber College of Maine takes place September 9-13 at the Searsport Shores Ocean Camping in Searsport, Maine. And finally, from September 17th to the 20th, head to Denmark for the 10th-annual Fanø International Knit Festival—this one is on my bucket list. Find details about these and many more events in our online calendar.

In the Forums: Wonky Rows
