Last weekend I hopped a big plane and crossed the Atlantic for four unforgettable days.

My destination was Scotland. My reason? I wanted to see the second-annual Edinburgh Yarn Festival for myself.

I got home early this morning, and my suitcase is still traveling, but I'm eager to tell you all about what I saw and why you should add this event to your bucket list.

Coming Up
This weekend the DFW Fiber Fest celebrates its 10th year, with a weekend of activities at the Irving Convention Center plus special appearances by Franklin Habit and Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. On Saturday the 21st the fifth-annual Heartland Fiberpalooza takes place at the Winterset Elementary School in Winterset, Iowa.

Next week, the Los Angeles County Yarn Crawl unfolds across southern California from March 26-29, with more than 30 shops participating. Find more fun things to do in our online calendar of events.
