Knitter's Review
February 27, 2014 People, we have a problem. Too many of us are still hooked on the super-soft Merinos of the world. So hooked, in fact, that most yarn companies are afraid to offer anything else. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. If we want any variety in our stashes, we must buck the trend. Lorna's Laces has recently gone out on a limb with a wonderful new yarn called Masham Worsted. This yarn blends 70% hearty, robust British wool with 30% Masham, a rich, lustrous longwool pronounced "massem." The yarn alone is a delight, but when you add the Lorna's Laces color palette to the mix, things get really interesting. Join me for a swatch? Coming Up In the Forums: Darn It!
