Knitter's Review
July 4, 2013
American Brand yarn by HiKoo

"Made in America" was a prominent theme at this year's summer TNNA trade show, which took place in Columbus last weekend. In honor of the trend to buy local and the fact that today is Independence Day, I've put together a list of 15 yarns, tools, and accessories I've reviewed over the years that are made here in the United States.

Dyehouse Update
You did it! The Saco River Dyehouse has already exceeded its Kickstarter campaign fundraising goal by almost $5,000. Every penny still counts, and the campaign runs through July 18th.

Upcoming Events
Knitters in France are in for a treat this month, as the second annual Le Lot et La Laine festival takes place in Cuzals on July 13-14. Meanwhile, at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, the New England Weavers' Seminar is being held July 11-14, featuring exhibits, awards, speakers, fashion shows, a marketplace, and a bevy of classes.
