Have you ever tried dyeing your own yarn? Would you like to? Then I've got a book for you.

Fresh from the printer, Gail Callahan's Hand Dyeing Yarn and Fleece packs a ton of information and inspiration into one accessible, affordable little book.

This Weekend in Tennessee
Some 50 minutes southeast of Knoxville lies the town of Townsend, which bills itself as on "the Peaceful Side of the Smokies." From Friday to Sunday, the town hosts the Smoky Mountain Fiber Arts Festival. You'll find all the traditional fair activities here, from sheep dog demonstrations to sheep shearing, a sheep-to-shawl contest, and classes on spinning, quilting, weaving, and felting. On Friday and Saturday, a marketplace will also be open to the public.

The Way Home Should Be
