Boku, the Noro lookalike

You can't mistake the distinct variegation and colorways of Noro Kureyon and Silk Garden. Or can you?

This week we test a convincingly good Noro knockoff called Boku, which comes from Plymouth Yarn at half the price of Silk Garden.

This Weekend in California: Stitches
Attention California knitters! Stitches West is taking over the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara this weekend. As of this writing, several workshops still have space, including those with Susanna Hansson, Beth Brown-Reinsel, Cat Bordhi, Sandi Rosner, Karen Alfke, JC Briar, and Fiona Ellis. The massive Stitches Market will be open Friday through Sunday. It also features book signings and a Knit Doctor on call daily.
