Knitter's Review
October 18, 2007
the hand-lettered sign is a SOAR tradition
Putting on any large event is a lot of work. Doing it successfully for 25 years in a row, that's downright extraordinary.

Last week, Interweave marked just such an achievement when its 25th annual Spin-Off Autumn Retreat took place in Michigan. I flew out for the first half of the week and would like to share pictures and stories with you.

This Weekend
Knitters in the New York area, this is your weekend! The New York State Sheep and Wool Festival will take place both Saturday and Sunday at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck. It's a gorgeous setting and the array of vendors is mind-boggling. I'll be there signing copies of my new book on Saturday at the Spirit Trail Fiberworks booth from noon to 2pm, and again on Sunday with several other authors in the large tent next to building D from 10:30am to 1pm. I hope to see you there!
