a heavenly halo of yarn

I was on my porch gathering materials for a colorwork class I'm taking with Lucy Neatby at the TNNA conference this weekend. I needed eight balls of yarn in the same weight, but in different colors.

Fortunately, I remembered the big box of yarns that Alice Starmore sent me last fall. I've coveted that box like family silver, but I decided if any yarn were worthy of a Lucy Neatby class, it was this yarn.

Here's my review of Alice Starmore's captivating Hebridean 3-Ply Yarn, pulled from the KR archives. It deserves one more parade across center stage this week.

In the Forums: Multitasking to the Max
It starts innocently enough with one or two simultaneous projects, but our knitting can quickly escalate to the point where we have a dozen or more things going on at once. What's the maximum number of projects you've had on the needles at one time?

This Weekend
Readers in the Indianapolis area will want to head to the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Franklin this weekend for the third-annual Hoosier Hills Fiberarts Festival. It has a great class line-up plus more than 60 area vendors.

As always, thank you for your readership and your support. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums!
