Knitter's Review
October 26, 2006 I have a soft spot in my heart for books written by yarn store owners. Not only do they tend to feature technically rock-solid patterns, but they also manage to bring alive the spirit of their community—making the book part pattern collection, part armchair travel book. This week we travel from classic New England to sunny Southern California to compare two such books from two distinctly different yarn stores: Northampton Wools and Knit Café.
