Knitter's Review
April 7, 2005

opening the door to spring While most of us try to think outside of the box, Cat Bordhi prefers to think outside of the loop.

First she showed us how we could knit socks on two circular needles. And now, she shows us how a circular needle can be used to create a seamless moebius loop. Most amazing of all, it has no cast-on edge.

The secret is in her Treasury of Magical Knitting books, which we review this week.

In the KR Boutique: Mark Your Loop
Part of Bordhi's technique involves placing a stitch marker on your loop. We have several fun stitch markers in the boutique, from sterling silver to bright and colorful. (Note: We're taking a brief break and your orders will be filled after April 14th.)

Whether it's a cat, spouse, TV, or houseplant, who (and what) keeps you company when you knit?

Hitting the Virtual Radio Waves
Last week I had the pleasure of talking with Marie Irshad, host of a new online radio program (or podcast) called KnitCast. You can hear our conversation and listen to previous episodes online at KnitCast.com. Over the coming months I'll return to the show and highlight some of the newest, most interesting yarns to hit the shelves.

As always, I thank you for your readership and support. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums!
