 Here in Maine, enormous logging trucks laden with timber are a common sight. Although they're usually bound for the lumber or paper mills, that's not the only place timber is being used these days.
Wood is also finding its way into yarn stores, as we learn this week when I review Sylvan Spirit, a yarn that contains manufactured fiber derived from wood pulp.
