Knitter's Review

 Part of the value in performing our reviews is that we get a sneak peek at how certain yarns age. But if we discover that a yarn doesn't age well, must we vote it off the island completely?
That's the question I ask this week when I look at a new cotton yarn from Manos del Uruguay, a nonprofit organization created to bring economic and social opportunities to rural women in Uruguay.

Sometimes we just want to write a quick note to somebody, but we still want to make it special. Our new single-panel correspondence cards fit the bill perfectly. They're printed on thick, creamy paper stock and feature simple, charming knitterly illustrations. In my totally biased opinion, they're adorable!
