 The Australian yarn industry has grown by leaps and bounds since I first began tracking it more than three years ago.
Although forerunner Jo Sharp moved production to Italy, Heirloom Yarns has continued to feed the country with innovative and cost-effective products.
Online startups The Wool Shack and Ozeyarn symbolize a new era in online yarn shopping Down Under.
This week I introduce a new independent yarn startup based in Victoria, Australia, the Rare Yarns Company. The company's focus is on quality natural fibers from rare and unusual breeds, with all materials grown and produced in Australia and New Zealand. (http://knittersreview.com/goto.asp?goto=RYC)

Forums: Career Chat
What do our careers have to do with our knitting? Nothing and everything. In reviewing a recent thread about what we do to afford our yarn habit, I was struck by the depth and breadth of our daily income-generating activities.

Year-End Gift and Challenge
