Knitter's Review
April 17, 2003

the new T-shirt designLast week, I mentioned that many farms send their fleeces to the same spinneries to be processed in almost an identical manner. This fact means that the actual fiber content is the only true way to differentiate one yarn from the next.

This week's yarn is a case in point. Although spun and processed in a fashion almost identical to last week's yarn (and possibly at the same Canadian spinnery), its different fiber composition produces distinctly different results.

And coming very soon: Our knitting lady pin has a sister!
