September 6, 2001

This week marks an important date for Knitter's Review. Exactly a year ago today I sent out our very first newsletter to 14 readers.

What a Difference a Year Makes

Today -- 52 newsletters, 260,000 user sessions, and almost a half a million page-views later -- we have 5,000 loyal subscribers from around the world. Every day, that number increases.

As we enter our second year together, I am seeking creative ways to expand Knitter's Review, maintain full editorial independence, face today's challenging economic realities,
and -- yes -- still deliver each newsletter to you free of charge.

Creative Solutions

Over the next few months I'll tell you about fun ways to get what you need and help support Knitter's Review at the same time. We begin this month with some generous birthday gifts from Interweave.

Special Deals Through October 15

  • Enjoy a 10% discount off every book from Interweave Press! Simply call 800-272-2193 to place your order, mention Knitter's Review, and you'll receive the special discount. Interweave Press will also pass a portion of all sales back to Knitter's Review, so your purchase helps us as well. To see a list of Interweave titles, click here.
  • Enjoy a generous 17 discount on all Interweave Knits subscriptions, including renewals. You benefit, and a portion of the proceeds go to support Knitter's Review! For details, click here.
  • Finally, Interweave has donated us four copies of the new book, "Christmas Stockings: 18 Holiday Treasures to Knit." At the end of this month I'll select four lucky winners. Simply stay subscribed and you'll immediately be eligible to win.

But That's Not All

At the end of this month I'll also announce the winner of this month's giveaway, a $50 gift certificate from eKnitting.com. That's right, four books and a $50 gift certificate, all in one month!

Best of Knitter's Review

In honor of our one-year anniversary, this week I've pulled together a selection of some of the most popular articles we've published.

And last but not least, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and encouragement. Your enthusiasm and creative energy are truly inspiring.

Happy knitting!

Sincerely,

P.S.-Do you have friends who would enjoy Knitter's Review? If so, use our simple Tell a Friend form and let them know about us.
