April 19, 2001
Last week I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Jim
and Pam Child. Together they operate Hatchtown Farm in Bristol,
Maine.
Pam is an avid handspinner and head shepherdess of some 50
Coopworth sheep, while Jim produces exquisite hand spindles and
spinning accessories.
I'll talk more about them in an upcoming issue. In the meantime, do visit their lively Web site at http://www.hatchtown.com. Jim's lambing journal will keep you at the edge of your seat.
