Knitter's Review
November 7, 2013 Many moons ago, Skacel sent a box of circular needles for the Knitter's Review Retreat goody bags. They were prototypes, explained Karin Skacel, featuring the traditional Turbo nickel-plated finish but with the pointy lace tip, at that time only available in bronze. How we coveted them. For me, they've remained the best thing that ever happened to circular needles, perhaps partly because I knew they were one-offs that could never be repeated. But this year Skacel launched a new product called the Addi Turbo Rockets. When I opened the box, I made the connection. Behold, the best thing that ever happened to circular needles, now available to the general public.
