March 28, 2013 Maybe it's the extra sunlight, or the tweet-tweet-tweeting of the birds, or the fact that my tulips have finally popped through the soil. I've got spring fever. With it comes a desire to shed the bulkies and knit something airy and optimistic, something like lace. As if on cue, I just received a squishy package from the United Kingdom. It contained a most perfect example of what happens when you take good wool and spin it as it was meant to be spun. It's a two-ply laceweight Bluefaced Leicester from Blacker Yarns.
