Knitter's Review
November 8, 2012 We've gone from fall to winter seemingly overnight. There's frost on the rooftops, and I can see my own breath when I walk outside. It's time for warm yarn, and fast. Most of us have already fallen prey to the temptation that is brushed mohair. It usually comes in a very fine weight best suited for lace. But this week I show you a yarn that takes this lace-weight strand of brushed heaven and knits it into a thick, spongy tube. Suddenly you go from lace to barely 2 stitches per inch. And the fabric? A perfect winter embrace. This weekend In the Forums: Blocking Boards As always, I thank you for your readership and your support. Talk to you next week! P.S.
