Knitter's Review
July 26, 2012 When I announced in June that novelty yarns were back, I could hear a collective groan from many of you. "Does this mean the end of wool?" people asked. "Should I stockpile the good stuff in case it goes away?" While the last round of novelty yarns was mostly made of shiny squeaky synthetics, this latest batch contains a high percentage of the good, natural stuff. This week I show you an example called TDF, which stands for "To Die For." It comes from the socially conscious yarn company Mango Moon. Besides having a hefty base of wool and silk fiber, it's also a perfect superbulky fashion yarn for mindless summertime knitting. KR Retreat is Here!
