Marigold Jen yarns

The 39th annual Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival took place last weekend. It's sensory overload, with dozens of sheep breeds and thousands of yarns, fibers, tools, and toys as far as the eye can see.

For those who couldn't make it, I've put together a seven-minute slide show for you. You'll find lots of sheep, pretty skeins of yarn, plates of fried food, and a special "knitty pot."

This Weekend in New England
Please join me this Friday evening in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I speak at the Common Cod Fiber Guild, which meets at MIT's Stata Center. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, hop in your car and head northeast until you reach Deerfield, New Hampshire, the new home to the New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Festival.

In the Forums: Weird Wonders
Minh has a great question: What is the strangest yarn you've ever knit? If it were April 1st, I'd have to say this one.
