Knitter's Review
May 12, 2011
hello sheep!

Pictures speak louder than words. That's what you told me in last week's poll, when I asked which inspired you more.

With that in mind, this week I bring not only pictures but moving ones as I condense both days of the 38th annual Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival into just over seven minutes.

This Weekend
Hop in the car and head northeast out of Boston for 90 minutes and you'll reach Contoocook, New Hampshire. That's where the New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Festival takes place this Saturday and Sunday at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. Meanwhile, if you cross the big pond and head to London, you can visit the Spitalfields City Farm on Buxton Road for its Spitalfields City Farm Sheep and Wool Fayre this Sunday. Both events offer a celebration of all things wool.

In the Forum: Beat the Curse
We all know about the curse of the love sweater. Pam wants to knit a scarf for her son's girlfriend. Would the curse extend to her as well, or is she safe?
