Knitter's Review

a simple skein

Does all yarn have to be spun? Not necessarily.

As anyone who has unintentionally felted a sweater will attest, many natural fibers adhere to one another quite nicely—and irreversibly—if you felt them. That's exactly what a German yarn manufacturer did with this week's featured yarn, Baby Alpaka Naturbelassen from Schoppel Wolle.

This Week in Ohio
The Black Swamp Spinner's Guild is hosting its 26th annual Market Day on Saturday, March 26th, at the Wood County Fairgrounds in Bowling Green. More than 35 fiber-related vendors from Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana will be there.

In the Forum: Tension Tricks
We're discussing the different ways that each person holds the yarn to maintain perfect tension, and sharing tension tips we've learned along the way.
