April 23, 2009 Fiber festivals can be overwhelming. With so much yarn available, how do you know what's good and what's to be avoided? I can't guide you through each festival, but I can point you toward one special yarn that you'll likely see on the New England festival circuit this summer. It comes from an equally special vendor who raises sheep in western Massachusetts. The yarn is called Upland Wool and Alpaca from Foxfire Fiber.
