Knitter's Review

GoKnit Pouch and a super secret yarn

I've reviewed a lot of things over the past nine years—notable yarns, tools, books, and such. Some things have come and gone from my life, like ships passing in the night. But a few have stuck around and become integral parts of my own private knitting world.

This week we revisit the most portable, functional product for yarn management that I have yet to find. It's called the GoKnit pouch, and it goes with me everywhere.

This Weekend in Seattle
Did you know that the second annual Nordic Knitting Conference is taking place at the Nordic Heritage Museum this weekend? Some classes still have openings, or you can come for the Saturday night banquet and lecture. The museum is also presenting Knitting Along the Viking Trail, a special exhibit of Elsebeth Lavold's knitted work.

In the Forum: Sock Support
A veteran quilter has just begun knitting and has embarked upon her first sock. She has already ripped and restarted several times and needs our encouragement. She asks, "Is there hope for me?"
