Mericash yarn and paperwhites

Normally I'd wait until after the June TNNA show to tell you about any new yarns coming out, but this week I have a special pre-TNNA preview for you.

It's from an Uruguay mill that's launching its own yarn label, Punta del Este Yarns. Yes, there's a single-ply wool similar to that of Manos and Malabrigo. But, as you'll see in this week's yarn review, Punta del Este isn't afraid of adding a little cashmere luxury to its line.

In the Forums: That Fateful Moment
Was there a specific moment when you knew, for sure, that you were hooked on knitting?

This Weekend
Knitters in the greater Seattle area are in for a treat this weekend. Some 20 yarn stores are teaming up for Destination: Yarn - The Puget Sound LYS Tour 2007. Pick up a passport and tour map at any participating store and then drop by the other stores to have your passport stamped.

Each store is offering something special, and at the end of the tour you can turn in your fully stamped passport and be entered to win a great prize.

As always, thank you for your readership and your support. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums!
