In July 2001, I ran a series of "one-skein wonders" yarn reviews featuring yarns with which you could actually accomplish something using just one skein. A few authors have since addressed this topic in full-length books. Most recently Judith Durand published 101 such patterns in her aptly titled book, One-Skein Wonders. Let's take a look.

This Week in Knitting
Readers in the Boston area, head out to the Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary in Lincoln on Saturday March 31st from 10am to 4pm for Woolapalooza. The day includes classes, demonstrations, fiber, and food. Entry fee proceeds help support Massachusetts Audubon Society education and conservation programs.

As always, thank you for your readership and your support. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums!
