August 24, 2006 Most people do their spring cleaning in the spring. But as the Maine air already hints of fall, I find myself rushing the arrival of winter so I can free my favorite woolens from their summer storage. They were washed before I put them away in the spring, but I like to re-wash my woolens a second time in the fall to perk up the fibers and keep moth larvae at bay. Longtime readers will know of my fondness for Eucalan, even though it got a serious run for its money this spring from Kookaburra. Now I put both to the test as I review a new detergent called Soak.
