Knitter's Review
May 25, 2006

Cup of tea anyone?

I've reviewed hundreds of yarns over the past six years, yet surprisingly few of them can be tossed in the washing machine.

This week's yarn, from Classic Elite Yarns, is an exception. Not only is it extremely rugged and machine washable, but it produces an intriguing surface texture that makes even simple stockinette look sophisticated.

Perhaps that's how it got its snazzy name, Bazic Wool.

Calendar Highlight
Midwesterners, your event has arrived! This weekend the 11th annual Great Lakes Fiber Show will take place at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wooster, Ohio. More than 70 vendors will be there, and admission is free both days.

In the Forums: Button Gluttons?
Most of us have huge yarn stashes, but how many of you also have a stash of buttons, and where do you find them?
