 I've just returned from the National Stationery Show in New York City.
Although the aisles were packed with colorful paper goods, what really caught my eye were the ribbons—yards upon yards and rolls upon rolls of brightly colored, shimmery ribbon intended for use in giftwrap.
I wondered how these ribbons would behave if I tried to knit with them. Once home, I found two colorful ribbons that are already being marketed for knitters.
Although they're sold under two very different labels, they are nearly identical, so I took them both out for a test-knit.
