Knitter's Review April 1, 2004
|
The world seems to be getting smaller. Whenever I travel, familiar products and trends follow me no matter where I go, even in yarn stores.
But some are special, and this week I'm just back from a trip to San Francisco where I visited two unique yarn stores, Artfibers and ImagiKnit.
Also New This Week
In the Boutique: Bookplates! I don't know which I'm more proud of, my yarn stash or my knitting library. I've longed for a way to identify all the books as part of my collection, but couldn't bear to scrawl my name in pen on the front page.
Now I have a far more suitable solution: knitting-themed bookplates! There are four designs in all, each available in packs of 12. Never worry about losing your books again.
In the Forums: Stash Size
Once again, it's time to do our spring cleaning. It begins with the ultimate, often painful look at our stashes. Show us your stash!
Also, will the Federal Government succeed in banning knitting in all public places?
