Knitter's Review March 11, 2004
|
If you thought self-patterning sock yarns only worked their magic in basic sock patterns, I've got a surprise for you: a self-published gem from Lucy Neatby that's a must-read for any avid sock knitter.
Also New This Week
In the Boutique: Stay Tuned for a Surprise! For the past several months I've been designing two new products to carry the Knitter's Review label: knitting-themed bookplates and single-panel correspondence cards. Both were very well received at TNNA in January, and in just a few weeks I'll unveil them here.
In the meantime, our Zecca Stitch Markers continue to be our best-seller of the season.
In the Forums: Spring Cleaning
In the Forums, we have a new area called Enter at your own risk—off-topic and unmoderated. It's where you can talk about politics, religion, and other topics that have nothing to do with knitting, tend to be controversial, but are part of our lives. If that's not your cup of tea, simply don't go there.

March Newsletter Subscriber Prize
If you're lucky, you're starting to see the first signs of spring. That means it's almost time to go outside and clear the garden, which is why this month I'm picking one newsletter subscriber to win a $50 gift certificate to the Gardener's Supply Company. Simply stay subscribed and you could be picked.
As always, I thank you for your readership and your support. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums.
