Knitter's Review
June 6, 2003

Queen Anne's Lace set against handspunEvery June, the National Needlework Association holds a major trade show where yarn manufacturers from around the world bring their latest and greatest products, and shop owners converge to do their buying for the next season.

Unless you have the proper credentials, you won't get inside the convention center doors. That's why this month I'll bring the show to you with sneak previews of the new fall yarns.

Retreat Update
We're hard at work finalizing the details of this year's fall retreat, which will take place November 7-9 at the Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria, Virginia. Registration will open soon, but in the meantime I can give you one hint as to this year's activities: color!

Read about last year's retreat.

June Prize
Every month we pick one newsletter subscriber to win a prize valued at $50. For June I'd like to do something a little different. At the end of this month, Knitter's Review will make a $50 donation to the charity of the winner's choice. To put yourself in the running, simply stay subscribed to this newsletter.

As always, thank you for your readership. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums!
