 Even summer days can be grey and gloomy, making shimmery, glittery yarns a welcome relief.
This week we continue our exploration of tape yarns with a brand new release from Crystal Palace Yarns. If you ever thought tape yarns were flat and dull, think again.

Lend a Hand, Warm a Hand
Afghans for Afghans has just taken on the assignment to provide newly hand-knit and crocheted hats, socks, mittens, sweaters, and vests for 5,000 Afghan children ages one to five years old. These handmade gifts will be distributed to returnees and vulnerable children in Kabul and the Shomali Valley.
The organization needs to receive donations by August 1 in order to transport them overseas and distribute them before winter arrives.
