Knitter's Review
March 13, 2003

hand-dyed blues

Sometimes life throws us a curveball when we least expect it. But we still can choose how to respond to it, as we're reminded in this week's review.

New This Week
The business is new, but the eye for color runs deep. Learn more about Cecelia Taylor and how a little yarn and some dye helped turn her life around.

Boutique Betty Triumphs
Last week I introduced our new knitting lady pin, a whimsical combination of pin and pendant handcrafted from formed fimo clay, glass, pewter, and silver.

Our entire stock sold out within a matter of hours, but more pins arrive tomorrow and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Order early!

In the Forums
Can inexpensive acrylics and fine wools coexist peacefully in your yarn stash? Must it be an either/or decision? Share your thoughts.

March Subscriber Prize
Some of the best knitting books are long out of print and hard to find. That's why this month we're giving away a $50 gift certificate to Alibris.com, which connects you to the shelves of used and rare book dealers around the world.

As always, thank you for your readership. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums!
