Well folks, we did it again!

Your overwhelming response to last week's review of "The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns" bumped Ann Budd's book into Amazon's Top 100 list.

Next stop, Oprah's book club!

The Ultimate Design Tool
In the book, Ann Budd gave easy-to-follow charts and diagrams of standard garments in a multitude of gauges and sizes.

This week I continue with the design-it-yourself theme by looking at one of the most powerful design tools on the market. Unlike Budd's book, however, this one requires electricity and a microprocessor.

Help, there's a hole in my knitting! How do you fix mistakes?

June Prize
It's never too late to add to your garden. That's why I'm awarding a $50 gift certificate to White Flower Farm, my very favorite garden shop, in this month's newsletter subscriber drawing. Simply stay subscribed and you'll automatically be in the drawing.

Happy knitting, and I'll chat with you in the forums,

Sincerely,

Some people always like to be well equipped and then some. They have a six-burner commercial range in their home kitchen, or they use a four-wheel-drive SUV even though they live in a city. If this sounds like you, then you'll love the power and flexibility of Garment Designer. Then again, like that commercial range and SUV, do you really need it? We'll find out.
