It's hard to believe that summer is almost over.

Yarn Slumps

Every summer my personal knitting projects slow as warm weather takes over. I've experienced this phenomenon for so many years that I trust my knitting muse will return once the temperatures begin to drop.

But for those of you who are new to knitting, your first slump can be upsetting. This week I give some helpful advice on how to get through it.

Final Bulky Review

As promised, this week I look at Rowan's brand new Polar. It's a soft, fairly bulky yarn that knits up at an agreeable three stitches per inch. Coming next week: Other ways to create bulky yarn!

Will It Be You?

Our next newsletter subscriber drawing is on August 30 for a $50 gift certificate to eKnitting.com. Stay with us and you could win!

Happy knitting!

Sincerely,
