June 28, 2001

Cats have an uncanny ability to find the nicest things you own and claim them for themselves.

My cat showed no interest in yarn until the day I brought home a bag of Colinette. As you may recall, the sweater I made was a disaster.

But before I could finish unraveling it, my cat pounced on the remains and refused to move. He now spends his days lounging on perhaps the most expensive cat bed ever made.

Buying Hand-Dyed Yarns

What do my cat and this week's newsletter have in common? They both focus on hand-dyed yarns you can buy!

This month we've looked at color in yarn, with a focus on how you can achieve it yourself. Realizing that many of us don't have the time for such luxuries, I end the month with a look at some of the most beautiful hand-dyed yarns on the market.

This Month's Subscriber Prize Winner!

Congratulations to Betsy Bowman, winner of this month's subscriber drawing for a $50 gift certificate to ForKnitters.com. Our next drawing will be on July 26th for a $50 gift certificate to eKnitting.com!

Stay subscribed and you could win the next drawing.

Happy knitting!

Sincerely,
