Last week I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Jim and Pam Child. Together they operate Hatchtown Farm in Bristol, Maine.

Pam is an avid handspinner and head shepherdess of some 50 Coopworth sheep, while Jim produces exquisite hand spindles and spinning accessories.
