November 16, 2000

Between the elections and the stock market, it's been quite a crazy week. Just imagine if we didn't have yarn to sustain us.

Serving the People

I like fun, bulky yarns that give instant gratification. But not everybody feels this way.

So this week I begrudgingly took out the number 3 needles to test a finer alpaca from Jaeger. Although I'd probably cheat and double it up for a pair of socks, it'd make a glorious garment for those with the patience for finer gauges.

Kaffe Returns Full Force

Normally I shy away from "Best Of" collections that repackage previously released materials. But in the case of Kaffe Fassett, although I own all his books, I still couldn't resist this one.
