What's the difference between the email newsletter and the Web site?
The Knitter's Review email newsletter is sent to a targeted group of opt-in, self-selected subscribers every Thursday. It includes our weekly editorial and several brief highlights about what's been published to the Web site that week. Each paragraph links to the full text of the article on the Knitter's Review Web site.

Our Web site contains all of our editorial content, including yarn reviews, fiber profiles, book reviews, online shop profiles, carefully selected links, interviews, news updates, event profiles, forums, polls, and more.

In addition, we maintain a complete archive of all newsletters.

What makes Knitter's Review unique?
Knitter's Review is the only independent knitting magazine that's published weekly to focus on yarn.

How does Knitter's Review obtain subscribers?
Knitter's Review is a double opt-in email newsletter received only by those who subscribe or specifically ask us to subscribe them. We do not buy lists, harvest email addresses, or send spam. Likewise, we do not make our list available to advertisers under any conditions.

Who reads Knitter's Review?
The Knitter’s Review Newsletter goes into the e-mail inboxes and RSS feed readers of more than 36,000 subscribers each Thursday.

Readers include novice to experienced knitters, yarn shop owners, knitwear designers, publishers, yarn producers, and fiber-animal farmers. Many of our readers also actively quilt, crochet, sew, spin, and/or weave their own textiles and garments.

How do you test yarns?
Each month we select a sampling of yarns for review. We try to balance our coverage between large-scale and smaller-scale manufacturers. We produce several handknit swatches of each yarn and subject them to a standard battery of tests designed to show how they perform under duress.

How can I get my product reviewed?
Simply send us a sample for consideration. Our address is:

Knitter's Review
P.O. Box 5276
Portland, ME 04101

Samples will not be returned, and we give each submission sincere and lengthy consideration.
